Yes, we will track all your appointments and appointment payments for you by calling insurance companies to collect all your payment information on your behalf: check number, patient responsibility, and insurance payment information for every claim.
TheraThink charges 8% of the “allowed amount” or “contracted rate” for that session as dictated by the Explanation of Benefits receipt issued by the insurance company. We only charge for paid claims that we have completed.
We charge 8% of the combination of patient responsibility and insurance payment (the contracted or allowed rate) because, regardless of who pays you your contracted rate, we will always provide you and your clients the same excellent service, filing claims on both of your behalves.
We have no start up fees, no annual or monthly fees, no per claim submission fees, and we handle eligibility and benefits verification for free as well.
How We Work With You
We developed a mental-health-professional’s only HIPAA compliant application panel that securely houses your information using TSL/SSL encryption.
You log into your application panel online (no need to download anything, works on all web browsers, iPads, etc) to view information on your clients, appointments, and claims. We take that information and use it to file, follow up with, and account for every appointment you send to us!
You can also send us information via our HIPAA compliant Fax number as well.
You will need to notify us about your new or prospective client, whereupon we will do an eligibility and benefits verification on your behalf.
We handle this in one of two ways: 1) we simply move all your existing and new clients over to our service or 2) we take on just your new clients so you can try us out and compare us against your current solution.
